Simpsonville, S.C. — Platinum-selling Country music star Rodney Atkins will headline Celebrate Simpsonville at the CCNB Amphitheatre on July 4.
With eight Top 5 singles, six No. 1s and 1 billion career on-demand streams under his belt, Atkins is one of Country music’s most prominent artists. Atkins has sold more than 11 million units and earned 10 career Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Atkins’s Platinum-selling No. 1 “Watching You” earned the songwriter BMI “Million-Air” award and the top spot on Country Aircheck’s top-played songs of the decade list.
Celebrate Simpsonville is an Independence Day celebration at the CCNB Amphitheatre. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. before rising Nashville duo Dugger Band opens the show at 6 p.m., after which Atkins will perform followed by a free fireworks show.
Lawn or beach chairs, towels and blankets are permitted in the Amphitheatre.■
