The Simpsonville Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday June 1, at 6:30 PM at City Hall. One of the items under consideration is a proposed amendment to city ordinances that would require any applicant to the Planning Commission or Board of Zoning Appeals to provide written notification by mail to all adjoining or immediately adjacent property owners a minimum of 14 days in advance of the commission or board meeting.
This is a proactive approach that would be an improvement over the current minimal passive approaches to notification that are required by state law. Show your support by attending the Planning Commission meeting and signing up to speak in favor.
