MAULDIN, SC – Christmastime is here, so join the Mauldin Theatre Company for a night of your favorite holiday hits! Performed live by some of the best singers in the Upstate, this musical revue is sure to get you in the holiday spirit by bringing Christmas cheer to you and to yours. Family Christmas Spectacular will run December 11-13 and 18-20 at the Mauldin Cultural Center. Due to COVID-19, capacity for all events at the Mauldin Cultural Center are currently limited to 50%. This musical revue follows the recently completed run of Mauldin Youth Theatre’s production of Disney’s Moana, JR. which sold out all eight of its shows. Next up for the Cultural Center’s theatre programming is its Theatre Fundraising Dinner. The Mauldin Youth Theatre and the Mauldin Theatre Company exist because of the support from the community. The Cultural team wants to continue expanding and improving local theatre programming, so they are holding a fundraising dinner in support of these programs on January 29, 2021. 2021 will bring more shows, including the 2021-2022 Season Reveal show on February 19; Mauldin Youth Theatre’s production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda, JR. on April 9-25, with auditions scheduled for January 23; Mauldin Theatre Company’s production of Disney’s Freaky Friday on May 7-16; and a big band music revue performed by the Mauldin Theatre Company called In the Mood.■
