Simpsonville residents and visitors now have more public parking in the downtown area.
To accommodate the need for more public parking, the City of Simpsonville has leased property at the corner of North Maple and West Curtis streets. The new parking lot is located behind Pink Owl Boutique and across from Sweet Sippin.’
Simpsonville community relations specialist Justin Campbell said the City is excited about the additional parking.
“With the smart growth and development happening in downtown, a higher and higher demand for parking is expected,” Campbell said. “We invite the public to take advantage of the added parking spaces to enjoy their favorite restaurants and shops.”
Public parking spaces can also be found behind City Hall along Hedge Street.
