Greenville Council of Garden Clubs elects new officers, honors retiring president Joan Wilson

Greenville Council of Garden clubs met on the front lawn of the Kilgore Lewis house to wish Pres. Joan Wilson a fond farewell and express thanks for all her hard work over the past four years. The new council was sworn in with an entertaining poem about making salsa. Each member plays an important role in the salsa making and the president is the spoon that puts it all together.

During the annual meeting the garden club recognized award winners from the 2019/2020 season.

Congratulations to the Fountain Inn Garden Club members who were recipients of several awards from the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs for the year 2019/20 which ended in June, 2020.

Also, FIGC member, Joan Wilson, won the Fran Swanson Floral Design award for the year. She has just completed her 2 year term as President of the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs. What an excellent job she has done!
