The rumor has been confirmed that Vaughn’s Feed and Seed in Simpsonville is planning to convert the warehouse portion of their building into a restaurant and retain the front as an ongoing store/gift shop. According to co-owner Ann Stevens, the warehouse area will become a restaurant with exposed beams and an outdoor patio, highlighting the current popular rustic look.
The very popular corner in downtown Simpsonville has been the subject of several offers according to Stevens who admitted that she could sell the property at any time but wanted to give the restaurant and gift shop a try. Stevens added, “We could always do something else if this doesn’t work.”
Vaughn’s Feed and Seed is one of the oldest and most continuous family-owned businesses in Simpsonville.
