CCNB ‘excited’ to partner with Simpsonville
Simpsonville, S.C. – Feb. 1, 2019 — Coastal Carolina National Bank and the City of Simpsonville have entered into a three-year agreement to name the City’s outdoor entertainment facility at Heritage Park, “CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park.”
CCNB — headquartered in Myrtle Beach, S.C. — opened a full-service bank branch last spring in downtown Greenville at 416 E. North St. to serve the commercial, mortgage lending and personal banking needs of Greenville County.
Laurence S. Bolchoz Jr. is President and Chief Executive Officer of CCNB.
“Although CCNB is relatively new to the Upstate, we are thrilled to be a part of this vibrant growing community and excited to enter this partnership with the City of Simpsonville,” Bolchoz said. “Sponsoring the amphitheatre provides an opportunity for people of all ages to come together as a community and enjoy spending some time together. This is our way of saying thank you for the warm welcome we’ve received.”
The CCNB Amphitheatre will continue to host premiere performers, musicians and bands and be a venue for an array of community events. Because of its convenient location near the Interstate-85 corridor in the Upstate, the 15,000-seat outdoor theatre, which has served the Greenville-area market since 2005, has attracted concert goers from across the Southeast.
Dianna Gracely is the City Administrator for Simpsonville.
“We are fortunate to partner with CCNB in this capacity,” Gracely said. “CCNB shares our strong vision for the community, and we appreciate their investment to help us market and promote the tremendous asset that the CCNB Amphitheatre is.”
Jimmy Kimbell is CCNB’s Senior Vice President Upstate Market Executive.
“CCNB is deeply committed to the communities we serve and promises to uphold the high standard of community banking that sets us apart from all the rest,” Kimbell said. “Our ‘We Can Do That’ spirit goes beyond the walls of our bank, and we hope this sponsorship expresses our deep commitment to serving the community for years to come.”
The City of Simpsonville contracts with TRZ Management and Live Nation in a partnership to bring exceptional entertainment to the Amphitheatre, which has featured Willie Nelson, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Counting Crows, Darius Rucker and The Doobie Brothers.
Dates for 2019 are still being finalized as the excitement grows for the high-level entertainment coming to Simpsonville.
