Winners in Fountain Inn’s second annual Gingerbread House Competition were announced during the town’s Tree Lighting ceremony. First place in the adult division went to Alicia Jackson for her Christmas Barn. Second place winners were Blanche Taylor, Beth Coker and Angie Nelson for their group entry: A Christmas Tree Farm. Kadie Coker won first place in the Student Division.
All of the gingerbread entries will be on display through December 22 at the Fountain Inn Museum, 102 Depot Street. Holiday hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 6-9 PM, and Saturday mornings from 9-12. The evening hours coincide with the traditional carriage rides, live Christmas music and Santa visits.♦
