The first day of Autumn is September 22. Time for football, lots of “Happy Fall Y’all”, the World Series, pumpkin spice everything, Aunt Het Festival, Halloween on Main, and more.

The second season of the City’s new leaf truck will be out in full force. Get your rake on!

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is October 27. The Fountain Inn Police Department will be providing a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs.

The Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce 35th Annual Aunt Het Festival will be held on October 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. https://fountaininnchamber.carrd.co/

Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be at the Younts Center for Performing Arts from October 12-28. https://yountscenter.org/ The Chapman Foundation’s 6th Annual Pynkalycious Breast Cancer Awareness Event will be held on October 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a 4K walk and balloon release at the Younts Center for Performing Arts. http://www.chapmanfoundation.com/pynkalycious/

The City of Fountain Inn’s Special Events Department will again be working with local churches on October 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for our Halloween on Main. There will be a costume contest, kid’s entertainment, treats and prizes, rock painting, music, food, and face painting. https://www.fountaininnevents.com/

In addition, children will have an opportunity to go Trick-or-Treating in a safe environment on North Main Street on Halloween evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Rotary Club of Fountain Inn’s Annual Turkey Shoot will be on November 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 700 N. Woods Drive.
