FOUNTAIN INN, SC – The Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce has announced that Whitney D. Ferguson will serve as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber. She will take over duties the beginning of November.
Ferguson worked for the City of Fountain Inn in customer service, before becoming Special Events Manager for the City.
She has over thirteen years of corporate experience in banking and finance. John Hastings, retiring President/CEO, believes
Ferguson will do an excellent job in continuing Chamber development. She will continue membership growth, by giving businesses more opportunities in which to network, advertise and help grow their businesses.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve the Fountain Inn Chamber and community,” said Ferguson. “The Chamber’s work is vital to the region’s business community and I look forward to working with the Chamber’s board, volunteers, staff and the City to grow the organization and to promote the interest and ensure the livelihood of local businesses.”
John Mahony, Chairman of the 2017 Board of Directors, led the Chamber’s search team. Mahony stated “We are confident she will successfully lead this Chamber forward.”
