To The Simpsonville Sentinel

Dear Editors:

Congratulations on such a wonderful Newspaper!

On behalf of The Powdersville Garden Club, we would like to express our gratitude for your excellent coverage of our events over the past few years.

The positive exposure you gave/give us on our Annual Spring Plant Sale helps spread the news to areas we don’t normally reach.  Also, thank you so much for printing the recent article on our 50th Anniversary celebration, which, because of you, provided the community with a nice introduction to our programs, goals, and services.  Coverage such as yours not only gives us the potential to increase our membership, but also helps us with raising funds (plant sale) to help the needy in our community and neighboring communities.

We would also like to thank you and your staff for their continued interest in our garden club, not only providing news coverage, but also participating with our club by providing and sharing informative programs (ex., “Butterfly Gardening”) and also informing us of important events held in Simpsonville, such as Simpsonville Garden Club activities, plant sales, festivals, community projects, and wonderful articles written by your staff on gardening. This “shared community” concept means so much to us!

The entire Powdersville Garden Club membership appreciates the professionalism and friendship of The Simpsonville Sentinel.  We are indeed grateful for your willingness to include our Club and community in your coverage, and look forward to maintaining such a good relationship.  Thank you so much, and please extend our thanks to everyone involved with your wonderful publication.

Sincerely,

Ron Ferrell, President, Powdersville Garden Club, and Members♦
