THE RIGHT MOVE
The passing of Simpsonville’s City Administrator, Eddie Case left a void, for not only his family and friends but for the citizens who depended on his knowledge and expertise to run the city. It was incumbent to fill this position as quickly as possible with someone who has experience within the City. The Fire Chief, Wesley Williams, has the longevity and requirements to fill this role while giving Council time to make the correct replacement choice.
Chief Williams has been with the City for 23 years and has served as Fire Chief since 2009.
His appointment to Interim City Administrator was “the right move”.
