Cashion Trucking Co. expanding in Fountain Inn

The Cashion Company in Fountain Inn will begin hauling Isotainers from the port in Charleston and storing them in the Fountain Inn facility on Highway 418. According to Jim Cashion, “We will be transporting around 400 units per year both bulk round (liquid) and square container boxes. I guess you could call it a mini inland port. We have obtained and have on-site a 35 foot Isotainer lift that is capable of loading and unloading these large containers safely. These Isotainers will be brought to Fountain Inn’s facility by truck and then dispatched to various facilities on the East Coast. We are hoping that we can get the railroad to put a siding in so that containers can be brought by rail from Charleston.”
Cashion Company is also advertising for drivers. CDL licenses are necessary and Hazmat CDL licenses are preferred. According to Cashion a driver can earn $40,000+ and be home each night or make more if they stay on the road longer.
