Police Awards Banquet

After postponing the original date because of an ice storm, the Simpsonville Police Department was able to have its 2015 Annual Awards Ceremony on February 26, 2016. The event was held at Events at Sapphire Creek off of NE Main Street in Simpsonville. There were about 180 in attendance and the event was nothing less than elegant. According to Chief Grounsell “it is not very often that you get the opportunity to showcase all of the great and wonderful things that the men and women of your department have accomplished, nor do you get the opportunity to thank those that supported you throughout the year. When you get that chance you take advantage of it. I am proud of the many great programs and deeds that were accomplished in 2015 and we look forward to even more great things this year (2016).”
