What do you see on the news today that boils your blood and makes you realize that you should absolutely know the skills that we’ve discussed on these pages for years ? What will you do when the anarchists and Marxists leave the cities and target your town, neighborhood and home ? How well are you prepared, and how willing are you to act ? Are you aware of the very low inventory of handguns and ammo currently available ?
You should have known these answers for years, but now reality knocks at your door, and you may have to be honest with your own personal strengths and weaknesses.
As I mentioned in last month’s column, gun sales have skyrocketed, with most of those being first time buyers, with 40% being women ! Yeah ladies ! But buying a gun and expecting to be skilled with it’s use, is like buying a piano thinking you can automatically play like Billy Joel ! In short, millions of handgun purchases have not equated to an equal amount of gun training and concealed weapons permit courses. Sure, the best instructors are still filling their classrooms and gun ranges, but it’s not reflective of the demand there should be with that level of new gun owner purchases.
The funding and organization of this contrived chaos runs wide and deep, with big money donors and skilled puppeteers pulling all the right strings. Tracking the money should be a day and night operation until the light of day exposes these cockroaches and their handlers. A relentless show of strength, the freezing of assets and serious jail time in my opinion will make the greatest difference in subduing these anti-American forces. They are as much an enemy of this country, as any sponsor of terror across the globe. Their numbers are deceiving making you believe there are many more than there really are, which is why many of the talented anarchists are being flown or bused around the country. It’s basically a direct-action mission like we studied in Special Forces, a hit and run guerilla operation. The tactics come straight out of the Nazi/Brown shirt playbook, including crowd intimidation in restaurants and businesses to force people to raise a fist and show support for ‘the cause’.
Yes, your blood should be boiling when you see America being burned and politicians cowering as they desperately try to hold onto their little kingdoms of power and influence. We must respond with overwhelming support for each of our neighbors, our Police, Fire Fighters, EMS and Medical Staff and be prepared to show solidarity in the face of this evil threat to the basic fabric of our country. I know many veterans that despise war and combat but are still willing to give the full measure to secure and defend the U.S.A. from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Regardless of the outcome of this incredibly serious election, I do not see a stop to this chaos and violence. Like Paul Revere of old, take action, be prepared and warn others to do the same. Modify your family emergency plan as needed to include these new threats while developing a family/friend support group that you know you can rely on. Determine a central location to circle the wagons, and gather the tools, supplies, weapons, medicines, food and water you will need for an extended period. Don’t count on technology and expect power outages. Sometimes ‘old school’ is better than state-of-the-art.
We cannot let this day pass without a suitable tribute to the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our country. Many of us remember where we were, what we were doing, even the weather outside like it was yesterday. This is a day that will stand in infamy and should never be forgotten, nor those lost in the buildings and the heroic actions of those trying to save them. These selfless acts demonstrate the best that can happen on the worst day of our lives. Many thanks and much respect to those individuals and families that suffered direct losses. September 12th we were all Americans, and our flags were displayed with pride from homes, businesses, mailboxes, cars and trucks. It’s horrible how far we’ve fallen in just 19 years, where the burning of the flag, businesses and police vehicles are common on the daily news. America is worth fighting for, and it’s always required the effort of a few dedicated patriots to lead the way.
