Street Survival Tactics

Welcome back Street Survivors!!

Please share this article with as many of your friends and family members as possible, because it’s one of the most important issues facing our families today. What do you know about the Amber Alert system?  In 1996, nine-year-old Amber Hagerman was abducted in Arlington, Texas and found murdered just a few hours later.  A partnership between law enforcement and radio and television broadcasters was born from this tragedy and has expanded across the country.

In the horrible event of a child being kidnapped, which happened an astoundingly 800,000 times last year in this country, seconds count to recover that child alive and unharmed. The Department of Justice did a study and found that 74% of abducted children were killed within the first 3 hours, and in 93% of cases if the child wasn’t found within 24 hours, recovery was unlikely. Within minutes of the Amber Alert being activated, every police precinct, fire department, hospital, cab and bus depot, military base and thousands of participating civilians within a 1,000-mile radius will be notified and on alert to find your child.

I’ve recently linked up with American Income Life Insurance company (AIL), an International company that has taken care of America’s working families for over 70 years. They have joined the International Union of Police Associations, and the American Federations of Teachers and School Administrators to reach every family in the country with the Child Safe Program. This program ties directly into the Amber Alert system and provides a living document for each of your children and grandchildren. There are 4 individual pieces to the program provided by AIL, all at no cost to you. Additional benefits are also available as part of their comprehensive Family Protection Plan. Please give me a call at 864-525-6217 so we can enroll your child up to age 16 in this vital program. When a child goes missing, your brain freezes, and your body goes on emotional overdrive. Having a current record of DNA, fingerprints, photos and physical description of a child to hand over to authorities can save precious seconds in the search. We’ll also show you a couple of smartphone apps to download and use to identify sexual offenders and predators near your home, school or other location that you visit often.

Rick ‘Pirate Hunter’ Grover strongly believes we’re all in this together, and the more we learn and train, the better we’ll be prepared for any eventuality. This makes all of us part of an amazing neighborhood team of American Patriots. God Bless America !  ♦
