Celebrations, Local

Sentinel begins it’s 8th Year

As we prepare to celebrate our eighth season, I want to take this time to thank all of our patrons, subscribers, advertisers, and readers. We have been successful with this venture because of you. We continue to be a source of celebration for our community, as well as occasionally, an honest appraisal of how our governments are doing.

As we pledged in our first mission statement; we intend to create a dialogue within the community about issues and more importantly encouraging solutions to those challenges. Our towns and neighborhood are very special and we need to continue to celebrate that most important aspect of small communities; the ability to work together and share concerns for all our citizens.

Coming in 2018, we are planning to increase our distribution to include the Five Forks area. We are also  planning to increase the number of our Sentinel newspaper racks placed around the community. Our sampling plans remain the same. We spread the word about the Sentinel far and wide by changing our routes accordingly to encourage more readers. Of course, you can guarantee delivery of the Sentinel by subscribing either on line at  Sentinelinternet.com or sending in the order form included in each paper.

Our paper is chocked-full of stories about our local citizens with lots of pictures to help tell the story. As always, we continue to encourage story ideas and submitted photos to share with our readers.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and encouragement. Connie and I are proud to be a part of your celebrations and achievements. Hope to hear from you soon!
