In 2016, Ace Environmental and the City of Simpsonville entered into an agreement pertaining to the collection of garbage, recycling, and yard waste for the residents of Simpsonville. The purpose of the agreement was to provide an updated service, while cutting costs to the city. Ace Environmental and the City of Simpsonville came to an agreement on standards of service that would save the most money for the city, while still allowing the provision of all three collections to the residents. These standards included, but are not limited to: containerized materials, bagged and bundled yard waste, and one bulk item per household, per collection week. A list containing all of the agreed upon standards are written in the Code of Ordinances, which can be found on the City of Simpsonville website.
