Eye Health America (EHA), a leader in eye care practice management, has announced the acquisition of a local Simpsonville, South Carolina, optometry practice, its fifth acquisition since the company was established less than a year ago. The optometry practice belonging to Dr. Sara Bopp, O.D., will merge to become a part of Clemson Eye, which EHA also acquired earlier this year.

Dr. Bopp graduated from Southern College of Optometry and opened her private practice in Simpsonville in 1995. She specializes in family eye care, contact lenses, eyeglasses, and the treatment and management of ocular diseases.
After 23 years as a solo business owner, Dr. Bopp is thrilled to join the progressive Clemson Eye team. “It’s exciting to be a part of EHA’s expansion in South Carolina,” said Dr. Sara Bopp. “This new opportunity will allow me to focus on the part of optometry that I really love; patient care. Our merging with Clemson Eye alongside EHA’s financial and administrative support ensures our patients will continue to have the highest quality service and care options.”
Together, Dr. Adam Easterling, M.D, a board-certified ophthalmologist who recently joined Clemson Eye, will work with Dr. Bopp at her Simpsonville practice, located at 877 NE Main Street Drive. Dr. Easterling has been caring for patients in Simpsonville and the Upstate region for the past 11 years and will split his time between the Clemson Eye offices in Simpsonville and Greenville. Clemson Eye is commencing construction on a new Simpsonville Office and Medspa coming in the summer of 2019 on Harrison Bridge Road between I-385 and Fairview Road. Simpsonville is one of the fastest growing communities in South Carolina and this future location is a convenient, popular corridor.
