The City of Mauldin is following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for planning, preparing and responding to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). The City is working to prevent employee exposures to acute respiratory illnesses within the workplace, including COVID-19, and ensuring the provision of public services should community outbreaks of COVID-19 within the area occur. The City’s efforts include, but are not limited to:
• Reducing transmission among City employees
• Protecting City employees who are at higher risk for adverse health complications
• Ensuring continuity of City operations in the unlikely scenario of a mass COVID-19 outbreak
The City is monitoring the spread of the coronavirus, including using John Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering’s COVID-19 Interactive Tracking Map. This webpage and the City’s social media platforms will be used to communicate information to residents, employees and business partners on the City’s efforts and the latest COVID-19 information.
City facilities and buildings are closed to the public until April 30, 2020. All essential City services will continue uninterrupted, including but not limited to Police, Fire, Sanitation and Sewer services■
