It’s time again! The PGC is started their 2018-2019 gardening year September 4th with a very interesting and informative lesson on “Soil’s Circle of Life” presented by our member, Cathy Murphy.
The Club meets every first Tuesday of the month (September – June) at 10:00 am at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 516 Piedmont Rd, Easley, SC 29642 (Powdersville). A delicious pot luck luncheon follows the meeting. Officers this year are Donna Hopkins, President; Becky Koster, Vice-President; Janet Ilcheson, Treasurer, and Sandy Sewell, Secretary.
The PGC has many friends in the Simpsonville area, and visitors are always welcomed. Membership is open to all interested in joining. Other programs on the agenda this year include “Growing Roses in Containers”, “Plants and Their Medicine”, “Backyard Gardens with Chickens”, “Growing Orchids”, “Garden Art – Making an Owl Luminary”, “Protecting the Pollinators”, and more.
Please come by and visit, you will be welcomed and will enjoy the programs, food, and fellowship!
